Tech-Thru Technologies is building an NFC-powered tap-to-order solution for quick-service restaurants (QSRs). With a simple phone tap at pickup, customers confirm their order, trigger payment, and alert the restaurant to begin fulfillment. Our mission is to improve accessibility, speed, and convenience for customers while driving efficiency for operators.

We are currently developing our MVP with Toast POS integration and need a design team member to shape the user experience, brand identity, and customer touchpoints.

We’re seeking a Product Designer who can blend UX thinking and visual design. You’ll design the customer-facing confirmation flow, lightweight web experiences, and internal dashboard screens. In addition, you’ll help craft the brand look and feel — from investor decks to sales collateral. This is an opportunity to have a foundational role in shaping both product and brand.

• Design the customer-facing confirmation experience (mobile-first web UI launched from NFC tap).
• Collaborate with developers to design MVP admin dashboard screens (Retool/Appsmith or custom).
• Establish a visual design system for Tech-Thru (typography, colors, components).
• Create customer- and operator-facing collateral (mockups, brochures, sales visuals).
• Support UX research and user testing for pickup workflows.
• Ensure designs reflect ADA accessibility standards and inclusivity.
• Work directly with the founder to align product and brand design.

• Experience in UX/UI design for web/mobile applications.
• Strong skills in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Ability to create design systems and maintain brand consistency.
• Bonus: familiarity with QSR, POS, or payments user flows.
• Passion for accessible, user-friendly design.
• Self-starter, comfortable working in a startup environment.
