Business Development / Sales Associate (Pre-Launch)

Location: Remote / Flexible
Type: Part-Time to Full-Time Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: Base stipend + Commission


About Us

Tech-Thru Technologies is developing an innovative NFC-powered, tap-to-order solution for quick-service restaurants (QSRs). Our mission is to improve accessibility, reduce labor costs, and streamline the pickup process for both customers and operators. We are currently building our MVP with initial POS integration through Toast, and are looking for someone to help us generate interest, validate demand, and build early partnerships before launch.


Role Overview

We’re seeking a driven Business Development / Sales Associate to spearhead outreach and relationship-building with restaurant operators, franchise groups, and decision-makers. This role is about creating momentum before product launch—lining up interested prospects, securing letters of intent, and shaping early customer feedback.


Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential QSR, coffee shop, and fast-casual partners.
  • Reach out to decision-makers (owners, operators, franchise managers) via email, LinkedIn, phone, and in-person when possible.
  • Pitch the Tech-Thru value proposition using provided sales materials.
  • Gather feedback and objections from prospects to help shape the product roadmap.
  • Secure letters of interest / pilot commitments to strengthen our early customer pipeline.
  • Track outreach activity and maintain a CRM of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the founder(s) to refine messaging, objections handling, and sales collateral.


Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management (hospitality/QSR industry experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — motivated to work in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and cold calling.
  • Able to listen, gather feedback, and communicate customer needs back to the product team.
